This profile of Nardaparli/Vida Brown was written to support an unsuccessful application for arts funding through the NSW Premiers Department. Could there be an artist whose case for support, acclaim and acknowledgement is stronger? Hopefully publishing this short precis of some of her work will generate more interest in this extraordinary woman and her South Coast Saltwater series of paintings and prints.
